The Gloucester Skating Club offers advanced figure skating programs including STARSkate and Competitive Skate. More information on these programs can be found at the links below:
Skaters must register where they qualify – no exceptions. After the registration deadline, skaters may skate down one level is space permits. Click on the link to Skater Program Levels and Progression Chart to see levels and program expectations.
At the beginning of each season, the Director of Skating and Professional Coaching Staff assess all sessions and skaters based on the number of skaters on the session, the viability of a session and the level of skaters to determine any upward movement.
Fall-Winter School 2017-18
September 5, 2017 – March 31, 2018 | Test Days October 27, 2017 – December 15, 2017 – March 2, 2018
Registration deadline is August 23, 2017. Skaters may register for any session at any time in the season. However, after August 23, the Club may cancel sessions if there are insufficient registrations for a specific session.
Skaters must register for the full Fall/Winter season September – April.
Skaters may Drop-in on a session at their qualifying or next lower level if space permits. Registration for drop-ins opens 1-2 weeks before the session and closes at the start of the session. Skaters must register and pay on-line for drop-in before going on-ice. Our registration system is in real-time. If a session is full, it will be identified in the system. Drop-in skaters may request music after all regular session skaters’ music has been called.
