Growing up I loved to play a variety of sports including competitive hockey and running. Through university, I was on the varsity cross country running and indoor track team. While I played competitive hockey in my youth, it was in my time as a varsity athlete that I learned what real dedication and hard work could achieve.
As a Kinesiologist, I strongly believe in Canada’s Long Term Athletic Development program and I apply its principles towards building the physical literacy of the athletes I coach. Training is focused no developing strength, improving stamina, educating on movements and playing the occasional game.
