The Gloucester Skating Club is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated General Manager to lead and grow our not-for-profit enterprise.
This individual will report to the volunteer Board of Directors, and will work closely with the Program Directors to implement the long-term vision of the clubs’ recreation and competitive on and off-ice programming. This position will commence as a part-time (3-4 days per week) position, and is expected to transition to a full-time position, when warranted. Specific education and experience qualifications, as well as duties and responsibilities are outlined in the attached Job Description.

Congratulations to Christian Reekie for being the winner for the sport of figure skating at the 2016 Ottawa Sports Awards.
As an individual sport winner, Christian will be recognized at the 64th Annual Ottawa Sports Awards Dinner on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Algonquin College. The mayor, our sponsors, and many of your community sports organizations, volunteers and athletes will be in the audience.

GSC coaches and PAs have fun coaching a CanSkate session at ‘Hockey Eastern Ontario’s Celebrate Winter event.
We need YOU TO VOLUNTEER for the Bi-Annual Skate Sale on Wednesday January 4th, 2017 to subsidize the EOSIC TEAM PROGRAM.
Each team parent/member (over 16) will be required to volunteer with the set-up, sale and fitting of all skates and clothing.
If you can’t volunteer for the skate sale, we can have you provide assistance for the simulation and the team party set-ups.
