Congratulations to Christian Reekie!

Congratulations to Christian Reekie for being the winner for the sport of figure skating at the 2016 Ottawa Sports Awards.

As an individual sport winner, Christian was recognized at the 64th Annual Ottawa Sports Awards Dinner on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Algonquin College. The mayor, our sponsors, and many of your community sports organizations, volunteers and athletes were in attendance.

GSC General Manager – Job Posting

The Gloucester Skating Club is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated General Manager to lead and grow our not-for-profit enterprise.

This individual will report to the volunteer Board of Directors, and will work closely with the Program Directors to implement the long-term vision of the clubs’ recreation and competitive on and off-ice programming.  This position will commence as a part-time (3-4 days per week) position, and is expected to transition to a full-time position, when warranted.  Specific education and experience qualifications, as well as duties and responsibilities are outlined in the attached Job Description.

In order to be considered for this unique career opportunity, you must clearly demonstrate, in your cover letter and/or resume, how you meet the essential education and experience qualifications, using specific examples where appropriate.
